On a recent return trip from Eastern Iowa, I discovered this! The house in the background of Grant Wood's "American Gothic" painting. The house was sitting quietly alone under the street light... no one was home.

Ahh.... but if I reveal the secrets that lie behind the gothic windows of the lone room in the attic - the intent of the gaze of the man and his wife will be for ever be changed.
